Saudi's have finally open their gates to Investors outside of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Market has a Market cap of over 500 Billion, which is more than 3 times the size of Qatars SE, Making it the largest in the Middle East.

Saudi's are very selective about who they do business with and so they do not allow most outsiders to invest in their market either. This is due to many rules that have been placed to screen potential investors and bring the "right" kind of money int the market.

That being said, It is still a long way before they will get the enough traction to keep the economy going, but it certainly is a start.

I think that this is exactly the reason why Saudi's take so much care with their markets. I'm Sure that they will also reap the rewards as a result.

I think that The Saudis are proud people who are just minding their heritage. By being very selective about who they allow to trade, they make sure that they maintain the best practices and stability.

With all the money they have, one would expect that they would open the gates to their kingdom .

They are opening the door bit by bit - it will take some time though, they are taking small steps - obviously in the right direction

I agree - yes, we've made the news for one day then it's gone out the focus. It didn't create the effect we've all expected so..something tells me that regulations need to improved or be even better - removed

Hopefully this will lead to more changes and more opportunities.
