One way to keep yourself afloat the Trading Sea of information and your trades is to Keep a Journal.

What would you put into it and what tools would you use to keep it in order ?

I know that people have been using mainly two tools, One being excel and the other being an ordinary Notebook.

Anything that I have missed ?

Using excel, describing how did they enter and exit.

I use pen and paper a lot too learningtotrade101 it's just something I've always done. I feel writing it down kind of drills it onto my head if that makes sense!

I am using pen and paper, I know that it's old fashion, but this is what works for me. Does anyone use any specific software? I've heard it's avilable but I haven't tried it yet

That is actually a very good idea winning007, I might start using them myself - one glance is enough to see the entry conditions and exits - thanks for the tip! :)

Trading journals are great. I am using a simple excel spreadsheet accompanied by screenshots. One screenshot for entry and another one for exits. Pictures tell a thousand words :)
